Nous sommes venus dans cet hôtel pour notre petit voyage de noces,il est très charmant et très accueillant et cela nous a permis de découvrir DINAN qui est une ville magnifique et très pitoresque. Et c'est pour cela que nous y revenons cet été avec plaisir en séjournant dans cet adorable petit hôtel.

We loved Dinan and one of the reasons was this lovely hotel. Our room was clean, quiet and the owners were just great. Mark and Erwan are super friendly and helpful. Mark's excellent English came in handy. We would definitely stay there again.

Had a great stay in Dinan very interesting town, with plenty to see even in winter. Hotel was charming very clean and welcoming. Room was comfortable and bathroom large and modern. Breakfast was good value for money and plenty to eat. The owners were very friendly and helpful, we would definitely use the hotel again.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour à l'hôtel de la Porte Saint-Malo. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l'acceuil chaleureux et la grande gentillesse des propriétaires. Nous n'hésiterions jamais à recommander cet hôtel confortable et bien situé (il est facile de se garer et le vieux Dinan est tout près).

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. We had a triple room which was very spacious and the bed for my daughter was in a cosy corner. The bathroom was modern and big. Compares very favourably with the three star hotels we occupied later in our trip around Normandy. Mr and Mrs Charles were most hospitable and gave us several dinner suggestions. The one we tried turned out to be excellent. Dinan itself is beautiful and the location of the hotel was good, just a very short walk to one of the gates to the medieval town. When we arrived in Dinan, the traffic was fairly heavy and we were afraid that we would have problems parking. However because of the hotel's location just outside the walls of the town, we had no problem finding parking across the street from the hotel. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

Première fois que j'allais en Bretagne. Hé bien, superbe hôtel, acceuil génial, et la chambre tellement confortable qu'heureusement j'avais pris un réveil sinon j'aurais fait un week-end dodo. Ville extra belle. Week-end vraiment trop court. Je reviendrai profiter de votre cheminée et de vos jardins. MERCI

Hôtel incontournable. L'accueil, les chambres, le petit déjeuner tout était parfait ainsi que l'accueil très chaleureux des patrons. De plus l'hôtel est idéalement situé à proximité du vieux centre et dans un quartier très calme. Dès que possible nous reviendrons.

We found this hotel on-line and were happily surprised when we arrived at the hotel. As mentioned, it is only 500m away from the Old Medieval town - but in a quiet street and there is parking opposite the hotel.
The owners are extremely friendly - our room was spacious , comfortable and had a large bathroom - located at the back side of the house with view over the pretty courtyard garden.
The breakfast was value for money : 6,50 euros - fruit, yoghurt, cereals, different types of bread and the lady asked twice if we wanted more ...
We will definitely come back to this lovely hotel !

L'hôtel est situé à 500 m de la vielle ville - dans une rue calme.

We discovered this delightful hotel a few years ago and have returned many times since. The friendliness of the hosts are matched only by the well appointed, clean and comfortable rooms and delightful setting. When visiting Dinan I would not contemplate staying anywhere else.

We stayed at the Porte St Malo during the Fete des Remparts. Fabulous location with easy walk into the centre of Dinan. Far enough away from the centre not to be bothered by late night noise. Rooms were very comfortable and traditional french style. The owners of the hotel were so helpful - nothing was too much trouble for them. We were made to feel very welcome and had a lovely stay. We would definately stay here again. Hope to see you soon!!

trés bien situé tout pres de la vieille ville si pittoresque l'immeuble est sublime et particulier avec ses petites terasses qui donne un coté intime au séjour
les chambres sont spacieuses et tres propres nous avons dormis comme des bébés !
les patrons sont tres acceuillant et présents à l'écoute de la clientéle
nous avons apprécié le petit déjeuner tres copieux et à volonté

Excellent location for visiting Dinan, within easy walking of all attractions and restaurants. We were really pleased with the quality of the hotel. The rooms were clean, well furnished and bright. Breakfast was not included in the price, but we took this option and it was of good standard in a pleasent dining room. The owners were really freindly and helpful to all our needs. Recommend using the hotel for coffee/teas it was the only place in france that we didnt get ripped off. Finally, my little boy left his toy rabbit in the room. having identified this with tears half way across the english channel, I phoned the hotel and the owner kindly agreed to post it for him.
